Installing the mobile app
Tenon’s mobile app runs in any modern mobile browser — no App Store download required. Navigate to app.usetenon.com on your iPhone or Android phone, log in, and tap Add to Home Screen from your browser menu. The app installs like a native app and works offline for the most common field tasks.
What you can do on mobile
- Clock in / clock out — start and stop a project timer from the job site
- Daily logs — fill out today’s log, add photos from your camera, note delays
- Tasks — see your assigned tasks, mark them complete, leave notes
- Timesheets — review and submit your hours
- Projects — view project details, check upcoming phases
- Sage — ask questions about your project on the go
Field-friendly design
Mobile pages are designed for one-handed use in the sun. Large tap targets, high-contrast text, and offline caching mean the app stays responsive even on a weak LTE signal.
Offline support
Core data is cached locally so you can fill out a daily log or mark a task complete even without a connection. Tenon syncs your changes when you come back online.
Notifications
Enable push notifications so you get notified when a task is assigned to you, a decision comes back approved, or a message arrives from your PM.
