Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about Tenon.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. 30 days of full Pro access. Card required at signup. We charge on day 31 unless you cancel in the app.
How many projects can I have?
There is no hard limit on the number of active projects. Pricing is based on the number of team members (seats), not project count.
Does Tenon work offline?
The mobile app caches your active projects and lets you fill out daily logs and update tasks without a connection. Changes sync automatically when you reconnect. The web app requires an internet connection.
Can my client see my financials?
No. The client portal shows schedule, decisions, selected invoices, and daily logs only. Your internal cost data, margins, and team timesheets are never visible to clients unless you explicitly share a report.
Do subcontractors need a paid seat?
Subcontractor accounts are free. They get a limited view scoped to the project(s) they’re on: their assigned tasks, the daily logs they file, and any RFIs they’re named on. They cannot see your estimates or financials.
Is Tenon available on iPhone and Android?
Tenon runs in any modern mobile browser (Chrome, Safari) as a Progressive Web App. Install it from the browser’s “Add to Home Screen” option. Native app store listings are coming soon.
